{ 001 } voice: German

[he's been fiddling with this thing for quite some time, and has managed to flick on the voice transmission]

--is this? Surely some kind of box, I would think...

[fiddle fiddle, there might be static when his hands go over the speakers and only half-hit switches, until he sighs and sets the technology on the ground rather gently, mind you]

...I suppose this is a dream of some sort. [he kinda groans] Awful place, really.

[not to mention he's still aching from the war]

[ Cue the face blanching. All color is no longer visible in her face, until that flustered blush reappears seconds later. There's no easy way to describe World War I, really. ] It's 1916. We declared war on Serbia, and allied with Germany. Prussia's younger brother?

[ And now she's rushing toward him with her usual concern, frantically placing her hand upon his forehead. Nothing odd there, especially no fever. Hungary removes her hand, stepping back to allow a considerable amount of distance between them. ] ...Oh. You don't remember... [ She turns her back to him and paces toward her plant, a solemn expression etched onto her features. ]

You don't remember our compromise, I presume?

[Honestly, he'd like to check to see if she was feeling unwell. 1916? What is this madness?]

It's 1763, and if by compromise you mean your assistance in the war over Maria's succession, I do remember and am quite thankful for it.

[Austria blinks, gets off the wall and follows her. Must have answers.] When did Prussia have a younger brother? I've never heard of 'Germany' all my life!

Not that compromise, Austria. The compromise of 1867. [ No, she's not upset at all and she's totally not plucking dead flowers from her plant and tossing them kind of angrily. Of course not. Don't mind her and her current frustration and/or rage toward the scientists. ]

[ Even after he's followed her, she's still going to keep her back to him. Oh, Hungary. ] For at least a century, if not more. He's been quite sweet, actually.

[Austria sighs, he at least knows that much about women to know when they're upset. What to do about it, though, well, give him a sec to remember everything he's read/heard.] I'm...I'm afraid no such thing exists for me quite yet. [He's genuinely sorry, but there's nothing he can do about it.]

[Something related to Prussia being sweet? It's safe to say that's the last thing he expected.] He has, has he?

[ She's still sulking considerably, but at least she's stopped fiddling with the plant and has moved on plucking out any living flowers. A girl has to have her accessories, you know. ] It wasn't important, anyway. [ Actually, it's probably more significant than anything, but she doesn't want a fainting Austria. Her timid words are followed by a sigh, nearly contradicting them. ]

Oh, yes. Germany is a sweet boy. If only Gilbert had grown up in a similar fashion. [ She won't mention that she used to beat up Austria, or how she assisted Prussia in beating up others, of course. ] But according to England and the others who are from a later time than my own, Prussia ceases to exist in the future.
